When I got the Holy Ghost I thought it was something I had to get and life would go on. True life would go on, but how would I handle the things in life when my siblings were rude when things didn’t go as planned,etc.  But as I got older and payed attention more in church I understood what the Holy Ghost was. Many times in my life I thought that I didn’t have the Holy Ghost or that God didn’t love me. I felt this way when my biological mom left me and my siblings.

Honestly, I thought I did something wrong, I thought I was cursed. But as Pastor said “God has a plan for when your father or mother forsake you.” When my mom left I understood that God had a plan for all things and he did. My dad got remarried, but I wished my dad was single a little longer because of all the attention I got from my dad. I didn’t realize I needed my stepmom.

When my dad got married he payed attention more to my younger siblings. Honestly, I thought I was alone, but I wasn’t. But no matter how much I pushed my stepmom away she never gave up on me and neither did God. I soon came to realize by her being in my life I was blessed to have such a wonderful woman in my life. I had to be reminded of this multiple times than I finally realized it.

Throughout my life God has given me test and trials that I did not like, but they make me stronger. My parents have purposely done things to me that weren’t fair but is showed me that life is not fair. I really thank God for my parents, pastor, and my church family cause they all help me even with little things. I really thank God for always exposing me cause if he didn’t I would still be in a mess. I also thank God for the Holy Ghost because the Holy Ghost will remind me especially when my flesh starts talking.

I really thank God for my Pastor because my Pastor is so honest and it helps me a lot. Pastor always brings me back to reality. He help me when I didn’t know how to be a daughter. He told me to go and talk to God and it really helped me. God has really helped me by giving me a support system. I really, really thank God for all his done for me!
