The Apostolic doctrine is the doctrine and instruction that comes directly to us through the Apostles, who were chosen specifically by Christ to carry his teachings to the world.
This name comes directly from God’s Holy word. In Acts 2:42, it says “And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
The Apostle’s doctrine consists of the guiding principles we should live by which Jesus left through the Holy Word. The Apostolic Doctrine is the only doctrine mentioned in scripture.
